S9 Matta Ti/Carbon Record

S9 Matta - The most beloved team car, that of Fausto Coppi.

Light, stiff and resistant over time. The use of grade 9 titanium alloy

(TI 3Al/2.5V), which has a tensile strength of 860N/mm2 and a limited weight density, allows us to improve the specific stiffness of the frame, while maintaining the level of comfort typical of titanium. As the material’s low coefficient of elasticity has a cushioning effect over rough terrain.

The extruded double-butted tubing, in specific diameters and sections, combined with the new Monostay design in high modulus carbon fibre (our exclusive design from Bianchi Reparto Corse) permits us to further increase the performance of this frame. The TIG welding in a protective atmosphere, ensures the preservation of all the mechanical properties. The components (rear drop outs, head tube and cable stops) are all made via CNC machining.
