Okay, top one is yours, bottom one is mine. Yours is 107 KB, mine is 49 KB. Clearly, you can still compress it much more and it's still a good picture. It just takes less time to open, and less space on your server.
My question is "Where did you *compress* it to 72?" I can't find something that lets you do just that.
In Picture It, when I "save as" the pic in the jpeg form, it opens the folder where it's going to save the jpeg, and in that screen it has an *option* button to click on. I clicked on that Option, and there is a slider there. I set the slider at 50. There's a world of difference in the size of the file in bytes but not in the clarity. Are you setting the slider when you save it at 72? I don't think that's necessarily the number of pixels per inch, but could sure be wrong. :)
