P.S. We see lots of green bagels in my neck of the woods on St. Patrick's Day :-)

That's a pretty green picture - I somehow don't believe that boat is *really* that color of green, though it sure matches everything else. ;)

This aquamarine crystal is a little greener than usual. Saw alot of these at a Rock and Gem show recently.

whoa. just got home from my support group & this was "on the top of the pile" of pings.

I guess I need to learn more about picture it. I do my "reduction" with the left sidebar & one of the choices is file reduction. You then have three choices. Can use one or all. I usually do the pixel & the resolution automatically goes down to 72. There is nothing lower but it does go up VERY high the other direction. The Picture It file keeps it at 300 - by going to JPEG it automatically goes down to 72. Will check out (when I am more awake) the sliding bar "thingie" you discussed.

Thanks Billie. you are always so generous to help us!

I have green underwear ...but I have LOTS of colored underwear, not just green!

Colleen, the boat is what I call "bianchi green". Bianchi is a bike manufacturer from Italy that has its signature bike of that color. It is an expensive bike. Cant get one for less than a 1000 dollars. and you can go up to many thousand depending on the quality of the components. My friend John has two. I had one of the RED ones, which is less expensive - by about half. gave it to my son when I upgraded.(yea, gave him the toss aways)

I like that pix.. very serene & that to me is what canoing is, generally = relaxing & serene, as opposed to kayaking which is turn over, get wet in cold weather exciting & challenging.

that is a gorgeous crystal. I don't have any aquamarine at this point. A few years back I strung a necklace of faceted aquamarine, freshwater pearl & 14K gold. It was gorgeous & was a commissioned job & pretty expensive, even to make.

S9 Matta Ti/Carbon Record

S9 Matta - The most beloved team car, that of Fausto Coppi.

Light, stiff and resistant over time. The use of grade 9 titanium alloy

(TI 3Al/2.5V), which has a tensile strength of 860N/mm2 and a limited weight density, allows us to improve the specific stiffness of the frame, while maintaining the level of comfort typical of titanium. As the material’s low coefficient of elasticity has a cushioning effect over rough terrain.

The extruded double-butted tubing, in specific diameters and sections, combined with the new Monostay design in high modulus carbon fibre (our exclusive design from Bianchi Reparto Corse) permits us to further increase the performance of this frame. The TIG welding in a protective atmosphere, ensures the preservation of all the mechanical properties. The components (rear drop outs, head tube and cable stops) are all made via CNC machining.

Group Campagnolo Record, Handlebar and Stem ITM Sword Carbon, Seatpost PMP Carbon, Crankset Bianchi Componenti full carbon, Wheels Campagnolo Eurus.

Available as frameset, or as complete bike by special order.

The next couple of weeks will be kinda hectic for me so I will be here hit and miss.

I have been reading the threads but have not taken time to post. :(

Mayor ... thank you so very much for bringing us Military Mondays
and for the daily devotionals.

Dolly ..... today's thread is fun but I'm not eating any fried green tomatoes. :)

Billie ... You did a wonderful job showcasing Pippin's thoughts. Thank you.

Pippin .... I loved your ghost stories.
I remember spending nights with cousins and telling ghost stories in the evening. :)

NicknamedBob .... I love your poem, even the second time around.
Thank you for reposting it.

Tuliptree .... sorry that I haven't been much help with the holidays. :(
Hopefully soon.

MamaBear ... hope your MIL is doing well. Is she still in hospital?

Dutchess .... looking forward to tomorrow's thread.

St. Louie ..... Hugs for always being here. Thank you. (((( Bro ))))

Victoria Delsoul, LadyX, WVNan .....

Hi Amy! That's okay about the holidays. We've both been really busy. In addition to teaching and working on my paper, I started taking a pilates/yoga class. I'm sore a lot from that, but I need the exercise. LOL! Unfortunately, it cuts into my FReep time.

Apply the Word. Ask God what He wants you to understand and how to apply it to your life that day.

Bumpity bump.
