I can imagine a whole host of ways it could help, from finally silencing racists to figuring out how to improve intelligence. Don't you think that understanding how and why brains develop and work the way that they do is useful? Bear in mind that some people object to studying even that, on the grounds that the data might be sliced along race and used for racist purposes.

To anyone relying upon actual scientific data, the racists have already been silenced. As far as how to use the information to "improve intelligence"; I'm not sure exactly what you are advocating. How would you use the data to improve intelligence?
