"There are more parts of the Republican Party, like Libertarians..."
What?? Libertarians are part of the Republican Party? When did that happen? I thought they had their own little deal going. Didn't they run that depresive anti-American Browne guy for President once?

Libertarians held their noses in 2000 and some in 2004. In 2006 and 2008, I think Republicans will draw close to none of them. Most around here have said that the libertarians are worthless libertine child molesting drug addicts and that the Republican party doesn't need them to win. I guess we'll see.
I don't care who the dems run. I'm not voting statist authoritarian democrat or statist authoritarian republican.

There's a pretty strong libertarian streak within the Republican party and many Registered Libertarians (about 250,000) vote Republican when they don't have a Libertarian option.
