Wrong about the phone. AT&T says a large area has a broken box and Bell South won't be hooking up the houses for a week, as they are prioritizing doing the electricity first. However, as I was the first to call, my Aunt's house will be the first hooked back up in that area....anyway that's what the fellow said after he worked the problem for several hours. Daisy at Home Depot in Hialeah is getting blue tarp and firring etc. together...although I think they got much more firring than we need. They made an exception and took a credit card phone order although their computers are down.
Now I'm trying to reach the taxi driver to pick it up and take it over to her house.
I got a call in to him. Hopefully I will hear back from him shortly.
