I have heard that Contreras and El Duque's names are like mud to Castro. I'm sure they could care less. My ears are still ringing and my throat is hoarse from cheering for him at the game last night.
Joe Buck introduced the topic of Castro's censorship, then he handed the microphone to another broadcaster near one of the dugouts.
This second guy mentioned that Contreras, who was the Sox's starting pitcher, has a brother back in Cuba. Contreras's brother made a trip somewhere on the island to listen to a broadcast of the game.
Somehow, some of Castro's people are able to get around the commie's censorship.
I enjoied it.
When Urgeth Urbina was pitching for the Tigers his mother was kidnapped in Caracas. I suspected the Chavez government but I don't know how that turned out.
Castro will be in Hell soon. Then there's the new commie Chavez. He worries me. He is absolutely capable of using Bin Laden type tactics here. With our porous borders it would not be difficult to send teams into cities to murder lots of people.
Like most dictators, he gets more paranoid as he gets older!
