LOL!!
I must be sick, but I think that is beautiful! Where was that picture taken?
I don't know if it's been said yet but it's time to hunker down.
More accurately, I think Bubba said "Well, it's about time we all get hunkered down for this thing."
I think it was near Naples; it came from the Naples TV station.
This site has great links:

If you want to check out Key West stuff, just click on the little "S" next to Forst Myers at the top:

This is the home page for WX Nation:

They have a page set up for cities all over the United States.
Yeah. Like that. LOL!
I sure think I'd be hunkering if I was anywhere close to Florida tonight.
When Katrina hit here and I lost power, phone service stayed on, so I'm hoping it stays on this time too. If it doesn't, I'll be incommunicado.

Wow - thanks. Those pics were awesome!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this storm's path. Be safe.
Yup, it's a huge windfield. I won't be surprised if it expands even more by the time she arrives.

Thanks. It's going to be quite a ride. I was actually expecting a Cat 3 for the past few days despite the forecasts for a 2 or even a 1... but now that it's actually happening, it's left me sort of numb.

Hey, I'm not sure where you are but if you have your windows boarded up and it's not too late, leave a little crack somewhere so you can look out to watch the trees double over. It makes the ride much more exciting. ;-)
That's good... phones stayed on during Katrina. Do you have battery operated radio &/or TV?

The howling... God, that's what got to me. I was so sick of the howling.
