He worked at Edwards for over 30 years, flew with Chuck Yeager, and was buddies with Pancho Barnes. This will be a great day for him.

I was at work yesterday (Edwards AFB) and was able to watch some of the pilots practicing their maneuvers! We (co-workers)had our own private air show! Beautiful!

Operational?
I was out at the base yesterday and had a chance to watch the practice runs; it was great fun. I hope the folks who attend have a wonderful time - the weather today is perfect for an air show.
