South Carolina is the state where the Attorney General ordered all state prosecutors NOT to charge people who stop home invasion robberies with firearms (up to and including killing the perpetrator). "It is now open season on home invaders" were his words.

There was a rash of home invasions in Chattanooga a few years ago until a few of the 'perps took the eternal celestial dirt nap thanks to armed home owners. Nary a mention of any invasions lately.......

An armed society is a polite society.

I love it. I remember some little old ladies telling me that if they heard someone breaking into their home, they would plug the iron in and heat it up good and use it. Yikes! think of the evidence. Someone with a red brand the shape of an iron on their backside.

I think a three day waiting period for coffee is in order.

3 days? I wouldn't last 3 minutes. I'm roasting 3 batches today in preparation for losing power to hurricane Wilma for 3-5 days. I'll grind it using the generator and heat the water on the camp oven.

But 3 days waiting period? There'd be a revolution, amigo! ; )
