"It was unreal. . . . He kept trying to hold my hand," she said. "I can still remember his words. He said, 'Can you ever forgive me? I'm not the same man I used to be.' . . . I told him, 'You just go to hell.' And I walked away. I was shaking."
Broaddrick never reported the alleged incident to authorities and said it never occurred to her to do so, because Clinton was a rising politician while she was "young and vulnerable" and in the middle of an extramarital affair.
"I had blamed myself all these years," she said. "I am a businesswoman, I made money. But I was insecure about men."
Estrich is a dog..........in many ways.........
Estrich's "Not interested" will stick on her in ways she's not going to like. Now, whenever I say her name, I will add it, and I bet Freepers will jab her with it, too.
I BELIEVE JUANITA!!
Indeed. We really have an opportunity to use this against her.
Wimp. spit!
She would have been better off not answering.
I can't either. It think it says alot about what she really thinks happened. She doesn't want to look her in the eyes. She doesn't want to know the truth. She knows how Bill got around alot and she doesn't want to know her president is really a rapist.
SUSAN ESTRICH: "Rapists that I happen to like and/or support politically have a free pass to do their dirty work. I only have a problem with rapists who are otherwise objectionable to me."
Yeah, no kidding. So easy to slander and libel the victim, and then just walk away...much like her buddies, the Klintons.
I have made contact with a FReeper who used to live in England and may have some contacts at Oxford. Eileen Wellstone, we need to talk.
I don't know that Ms. Broaddrick (as the offended party) would want to come down and get involved in that - it really would be unseemly for her, especially after what she's been through. Something tells me she has an incomparable amount of dignity when placed up against someone like the "peace mom".
But.
Actually - It is an intriguing idea. We'd need a fellow conservative "rabble-rouser" - an academic? Maybe Horowitz, or someone like? Or could we do it with an "unknown" like Shehan was (as the "star" - obviously we'd need support personnel there, our own security, etc.)
Do it as a two-day event on a weekend? This really has possiblities, seriously.
Susan Estrich is a leftist political operative masquerading as a law professor. Selling your soul removes truth as an option.
I don't believe Juanita wants to make a spectacle. She just wanted to have a one on one discussion with her.
Just imagine her course of action had the rapist been named Newt Gingrich, Tom DeLay, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, or George W. Bush.
Of course she would have jumped and made that call, probably taped it and aired it live somewhere. There would maybe even have been tears on both sides.
How is Susan's action any different from a mom not believing her daughter was raped by Dear Uncle George, and telling the girl she must have made it up? Not HER Bill Clinton.
It really is sickening. Bravo for poor Juanita, who has never shown herself interested in anything but telling her story quietly.
Could it be done to -brace yourself- "raise awareness" of the issue of rape and those, like Ms. Estrich, who condone it? Releases could go out that this grew out of Ms. Estrich's refusal to meet with Ms. Broaddrick as a fellow survivor -
We could really skewer so many of the leftist's secular golden calves with something like this.
Just as there were many people who Walter Durante had no interest in speaking to in the 30's,there are some people who Estrich has no interested in meeting today.
Is it normal for an officer of the law to brand a private citizen as a liar and not be held accountable for their remarks?
Skewering is the idea. We can do some damage with this.
