The Black community no matter how much they might AGREE with you-- feels that the White community has NO right to critise them.Being a Son of the South, who am I to blame them?

I just had to agree with both of you. You brought up memories of how funny that album was and how it fit in with the way things were back then and what made us laugh.

(If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.)

But why is it when a white person says these types of things, we're called a racist?Because it's easier to sling names than to actually wash, feed, clothe, educate, discipline and provide an intact home for your children. They are taking the path of least resistance. If they accept Cosby's words then the responsibility to actually DO SOMETHING becomes theirs - and they don't want that. They want a boatload of excuses.

I was going to post this, but you beat me to it. Yet I wasn't to be disappointed in the reactions of some, however.
