Man, this really is a trainwreck. Her published articles and her Senate questionairre are enough to make me think she's in way over her head. The hearings are going to be something to behold.

That's the way I see it too. Man... You honestly have to feel sorry for her at this point. Imagine the media being filled w/ reports of how lousy you write, your cognitive limitations, etc...
My guess is Bush surprised her w/ the nomination (Lord knows why) and she felt she just couldn't say no.
Bet she regrets that.

I think Bush stepped into some stinky stuff - big time (voice of Cheney). I wish he would withdraw the nominee - but part of me wants to watch the hears just for the fun of it. It will be so excellent to read the comments of the pro-miers people here. Pop-corn time.
