Court issues warrant for DeLay, sets bail:

AP By William L. Watts

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- A Texas court on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant for former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, and set his bail at $10,000 in a routine step before his first court appearance on conspiracy and state money laundering charges, the Associated Press reported. The issuance of the warrant is "a matter of routine and bond will be posted," DeLay attorney Dick DeGuerin told the A.P. The lawyer said DeLay would make his first court appearance Friday morning. DeLay, who remains a member of Congress, relinquished his leadership post last month after being indicted on a charge of conspiring to violate state campaign finance laws. DeLay contends the charges are politically motivated and that he will be vindicated at trial.

You freaking morons are the only ones who sincerely believe that the U.S. Consittution puts elected officials above the rules of law just because they are elected.

Really? And, I suppose, you would be offended if we 'freaking morons" nominated Ted Kennedy as the poster child for our cause?

I would like to point here that the structure of your opening statement openly invites responses like: "We are not the only ones who sincerely believe that the U.S. Constitution puts elected officials above the rules of law just because they are elected; Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton believe it, too." Remedial writing for you, in addition to 3rd grade spelling.

WTF country do you people think you are in? You are in fantasyland you freaking idiots.

Hmmm. Last I checked, we live in the United States of America, the home of the free and the brave. I think you are living in Saddam Hussein's Iraq, a.k.a. "Fantasy-land". And, apparently, they do not teach proper punctuation there.

No wonder Delay is going ot jail he obviously also thinks he is above the law becasue he is in Congress.

If Mr. Delay does go to jail, it will be due to the proper enforcement of laws as set forth in Republic of Texas' constitution. You are passing familiar with the concept of "the proper enforcement of laws", are you not? Oh, wait. I forgot. You live in Fantasy-land.

Please remain in your country until you have mastered the following: Spelling, Grammar (to include proper sentence structure and punctuation), Geography, U.S. Civics, and Introductory Logic. This should keep you off the streets of our country for some time.

Moron.

Well, in a way he is. A smile like that will affect the Dems and lefties like a hand sign. P.S. There's an entire thread about this photo.

Nope, no Democrat here, just an extremely conservative realist. All I see are the usual bunch of cringers, not even willing to defend themselves let alone go on the offensive. What am I missing?

I think you're missing the fun of watching DeLay's slow-motion butt-whoopin' of Ronnie Earle.

I'm not talking about Delay. I'm talking about the rest of his cohorts who call themselves Republicans. They aren't "at war" or about to go "to war" with anybody no matter how bad the Rats stick it to them or to Delay. They have made a bee line for the high grass with their only intent to not be seen within a hundred yards of Delay. Delay is a fighter and will not take this crap from a crooked prosecutor or crooked judge, etc., but good thing he is, because he's on his own.

Yeah most of the rest need a Neuticles implant. But hey, there's always Mike Pence... and Curt Weldon has been standing tall recently too. And Norm Coleman ain't bad either. So there's a handful in the mess of jelly-spined weasels that call themselves the Republican caucus.

"This travesty is a moonbat coup. If the Texas Constitution allows it, Governor Perry should issue a full pardon for Delay now. He should then have Earle arrested for abusing his office."

I think you missed something here: Delay has already sworn to fight this, because he is innocent, and did nothing wrong or illegal, IIRC the way he phrased it in the soundbite I heard a week or so a go. If the Gov issues a pardon, and Delay accepts it, he's basically admitting guilt. Not to mention that he already refused to plea-bargain it down to a misdemeanor as noted in the article. IOW, it ain't happening.

That last part of your post, however, may just be a decent idea.

The Dems hope for a Delay trial or a no-delayed trial. The Reps hope for a delay-ed trial or a no-Delay trial. Kind of makes things confusing, you know?

YOU: "What is a neutral judge"? Someone, R or D, who did not contribute to such a RADICAL organization like Moveon.org???

ME: You will not get a change based on that.

56 years and I finally made a mistake ! ;-)

The crooked liberal judge got his butt thrown out of court. So Delay should get a real judge. The liberal judge said he gave money to "Move On" before they attacked Delay.
