Cooper, aka Richard McCoy, was killed by the FBI in 1974.I thought McCoy's fingerprints didn't match any they found on the plane.
Anyway, the money never turned up, except for about 2% of it which was found washed onto a Columbia River sandbank a decade later. I think the presumption is strong that Cooper died making the jump.
