Sorry but i am speaking of reality and i am not playing with general abstractions and empty sentences.
Mr.CHIRAC and many journalists working for our national MSM deny the christian roots of european civilization.CHIRAC wanted to cancel the mention, in the project of european constitution,of the christian roots, among others,of our culture .This is called historical negationism or if you prefer historical manipulation.
The spanish government of Mr.ZAPATERO made a new law allowing gay mariage(wedding)and adoption of child....
These are signs of moral relativism .This trouble which touch many europeans'mind is a kind of mental disorder...

Sorry but you are not more "european" than me or T.BLAIR,AZNAR or POLAND...

"CHIRAC wanted to cancel the mention, in the project of european constitution,of the christian roots, among others,of our culture ."

It wasn't Chirac specifically, but it doesn't really matter; the point was to throw god out of the constitution, not the history.

Everyone knows what European history contains, but the constitution is not a thing of the past, but of the future.

Gay marriage/adoption... why not? I'm a sociologist, I have more knowledge on the topic, and the only counterargument against adoption that I think is sensible (excluding the religious bs) is the social stigma of the children from the side of the ignorant society.

Europe simply accepts the fact that there is more than one religion (60% of europe is atheistic, most of the rest is christianity, the rest is counted in promiles - even the muslims, which cause less problems than american media wants you to know), and more than one way of solving the problem.
Atheists are the majority in Europe, they set the standards. Protestants are the majority in the USA, and they set the standards there. Neither of our ways is really comprehensible to the other side (I for one can't understand how people can have christian schools - a place where children are indoctrinated/brainwashed into believing that there is some sort of super being that can do anything it wants - but of course it needs you to believe in it, do things for him, give his church donations... and then, only then he'll do something for you.... I hope you sense the sarcasm in all of this).
