There used to be a time when people wore nice clothes in order to gain respect and to show respect to others. This is no longer the case, since many of our youth are now being taught that respect no longer has to be earned. All one needs to do to witness this shift in behavior is go to a local Starbucks and see the kind of slime that works there.

My dad always said "dress for success".

We wore uniforms at my school.

I would rebel in the ways I could (ie paisley or striped tights) LOL
