Aren't they though?! I just love sitting back and watching them reinvent the wheel all over again. They're so cute and sincere :-)
Of course, it's easier to be relaxed when you've had at least one come through to the other side and not only become a good, decent, productive human, but your best friend too!
My oldest put gray hair on my head from 7th grade til the day he graduated. And even on the day he graduated he made sure he got into some trouble!! He's 25 now and the best kid (man) ever. The dumb things he did, we laugh about now! My other two were a breeze compared to him.
I kinda miss those days of the "bad boy"! lol
