gilberts lowest recorded pressure was 888 mb...however we have no idea if that was the lowest pressure..The recon plane may have not been sampling data at Gilberts peak...The recon plane just happened to be in Wilma at the time it went insane..,
I dunno why I thought it was lower than that. Either way, Wilma looks to do some serious hell on earth stuff in a few days.
If I lived anywhere along the Gulf Coast right now, I would seriously be out of there already.
