This seems to be a weak point, to me. I don't see how divine participation in biological systems in any way impacts free will.

If the universe were deterministic, and God were responsible for every single aspect of all biological beings, then there could be no free will.

Sure. But God influencing or directing is not the same thing as forcing "every single aspect."
