Exactly, burglarized... and yes, on a Sunday.
That stinks....hope they catch the perp & slam 'em hard!
This may sound corny, but if you have a dog in most circumstances they will prevent a Burglary of your home because being opportunists the Burglars will go where there is the least resistance and obstacles to overcome in the short time that they must "hit and run". Neighborhood watch in your Building might help, extra eyes and ears is always welcome for prevention. Good luck and I hope you get the neighbors riled up on this, or the scuzz will be back.
