Rush Limbaugh is the best political analyst in the country and he is right over 95% of the time. Unfortunately his stand on the Miers nomination, and his analysis in this whole issue of being anti-Miers, is wrong, very wrong.

FWIW, I agree with you. Rush isn't the worst of the bunch. Laura Ingraham, Buchanan, and Ann Coulter are worse. I turned Laura's show off Thursday and Friday because I couldn't stand listening to her comments.
The nominee hasn't even had her hearing. What is worse, these elitists will tolerate no prisoners, just chop her head off. After she is disposed of, they want us to believe that GW will nominate one of their preferred candidates and the person will sail right through. NO THEY WON'T! Having wounded the President, the liberals who don't want anyone but more liberals on the Court will be absolutely gleeful and the wonderful 14 will be busy with other things rather than kill a filibuster.

I think that we conservatives are looking for a couple of things; 1. A true bonifide constitutionalist who can show a paper trail of having "walked the talk". 2. We want to test the waters and just see with our own eyes who are the true believers and who are the rhinos - let's rumble...

Rush Limbaugh is the best political analyst in the country Plese, don't flush your credibility in the first sentence.
Rush is a fine talk-show hoast, and he's done good things for the conservative movement, but saying he's the best political analist in the country holds up to zero logical standards.

No matter what you think of Miers, it's nice to hear that Rush is not regurgitating the party line. Since he got in trouble, he's been just another Bushbot zombie. Maybe I can start listening to him again without getting depressed!

Rush isn't the one who decided it would be a better idea to placate the left and fight the right by nominating an affirmative action pick vetted by Senate Dems. Someone protests too much.

If Hillary Clinton claimed a sincere spiritual conversion, started regularly attending evangelical/fundamentalist church services (which she has from time to time), and said she was "rethinking" her stand on abortion, you buy into it. Raka!
