WH Aide: What will the Conservatives think and do?
GW:Who cares. They have to go along, Where can they go?

Having voted for the man as many times as I have been able, (4) I hate to think he would be that cynnical. But this nomination reeks. Especially when there was some doubt (still is) about Roberts.

You are being too easy on them. Nothing in politics is an accident. They had her planned for a long time, just waiting. Bush is a RINO, the Reagan wing of the party has been put out the airlock, and this is the proof that they are convinced that they have the votes to do it. The conservative "movement" has come to a dead stop.
