I wonder what Miers opinion is on allowing Nazi's to march?

IIRC, didn't Herman Goering comment that it Allied bombers ever got through to Berlin, "then you can call me Miers"?

What does this mean? Is it a prediction of what was to come? Miers is just too much of a mystery....she must be condemned now!! :)
