No, but that's OK, after all the logic of Miers' supporters is 2+2=5.

No experience = GOOD!

No constitutional law advocacy = GOOD!

No knowledge of nominee's judicial philosophy = GOOD!

Attacks conservative Federalist Society = GOOD!

Defends NAACP = GOOD!

Please... anyone intellectually honest can see this nomination is awful. The one legitimate point that Miers' supporters can make is that it hurts the President to have this turmoil.

The point conservatives are making is "yes it is hurting you Mr. President, our party, and our movement, so PLEASE, do the RIGHT thing and withdraw this nomination and admit your mistake."
