Nearly 6 percent of all men between 15 and 44 reported having oral sex with another man at some time in their lives, and nearly 4 percent reported having anal sex with another man.
I seriously question this survey. If you read the survey document at the CDC, they asked women different questions than men, asking if they had had any sexual contact with another woman (meaning a kiss or playing doctor could count as a yes). One encounter counted as a yes for men and women. They did not follow up with the question, "Was this forced or consensual?" which could have impacted the statistics considerably. Also, they compared their results to other surveys and found the percentages dropped considerably when asked if the encounter happened within the last 10 years. They admit their numbers are consistent with other surveys which put the numbers of self-identifying homosexual/bisexual men at 2.8% and bisexual/homosexual women at 1.5% total pop.
