Good question. I think a lot of the pedestal placers are living our their dreams of being a pro athlete through others.

They just can't believe their heros could do anything wrong.

Ya know,
if this was a bunch of brain surgeons, or soldiers or you get the picture....

I'd be upset and disappointed, but I would still see the service the provide for humanity.

But I just don't 'get' the whole pro sports Gods on Olympus mentality. I know there are good guys out there, but not enough to justify the crap. And all they are is the human equivalent of chickens playing the piano.

I mean, shut the friggin' team down! (I know they won't do it) but if this was any other group, their butts would be in jail and lawyers would be around the block with lawsuits.
