They ARE amazing. My son had the privilege of being in support of the 101st when they 'got' Saddam's sons, and felt like he was a small part of it.

He was deployed from Ft. Campbell very early in the war (actually got there 3 days after it started), and spent 15 months there.

Never been prouder of anyone of anything in my entire life.

God love him..you tell him THANKS from me..my son is 11B so I am profoundly grateful for every soldier in support:)

As to the rest of this story- I'm hesitant to say much- Ft. Campbell was on lockdown most of the day and they're being tight-lipped.

But let me emphasize again- as the news has said- this was a NON military gun that was used, and the soldiers were in morning formation- so it wasn't an accident on a firing range or anything remotely like that.
