"Men.....are you willing to give up your life for your marriage? If not, don't get married."

This is something I don't understand. Why should you have to give up your life to be married? Can't marriage be a partnership with husband and wife valuing each others differences and interests?

Maybe that's why men are skeptical of marriage. Life is too short and precious to give up things and activities you enjoy so you can cow down to a demanding, ungrateful, whining, complaining woman.
