Always a good idea to check out the neighborhood before you move in. A lot of my neighbors moved here after discovering this place at the mosque Friday evening after prayer.

Home sales here are getting top dollar too!

People are so amazingly dumb. This woman acts surprised.

Too bad every liberal can't get a nice big dose of reality, the reality they so piously ignore. The reality that people just like them have made.

What? No wall-to-wall media coverage? No civil rights lawsuit? No howling and crying from the racial arsonists? No pontificating by liberal "moralists?"

Oh. You mean the racists were black, and the hate crime was against whites?

I do feel bad for the kids. I was bussed to a mostly black school when I was a kid in Maryland, and while I never experienced what those kids are going through, it could get tense. I am sure the situation was the same for the black kids bussed to a mostly white school.

Being a kid (and a soldier, incidentally) is hard enough without liberals trying to use you for a damned social experiment.

The parents are the dummies in this one. "Oh this will be great for our kids..." They think because they can chum around with people of all stripes and colors in their circle of social worker liberals and mouth platitudes about how important it is for everyone to pull together, the reality for their kids is different.

I feel bad for those kids.

City education officials are investigating the claims of a pair of boys from Oklahoma who moved to Brooklyn to experience diversity....

They got some diversity alright .... in spades.

As D'Souza said, racism was considered to be the product of ignorance, which can be overcome. If these boys grow up to dislike blacks, that will be the product of experience, and that will be considerably more difficult to overcome...JFK

I never understood the intellectual aspect of the diversity fetishists. Gather any number of people together and you will get a diversity of views, backgrounds, opinions, etc.

They seem to use it as a surrogate for 'race,' which is even more problematic. By using race as the guide, that suggests there is somehow a uniquely black, uniquely chinese, uniquely latino point of view.

The trick is in the 'uniquely.' Either it's unique to the race, or comperable insights can be offered by others of other races (that is, it;s not unique). The premise seems to me that there are ways of thinking that largely are impacted by race.

That's pretty bigoted.

Oklahoma who moved to Brooklyn to experience diversity

Well, they seem to have experienced it. I wonder if she's happy now?

***she relocated her family from their small Oklahoma town so her husband, a Brooklyn native and social worker, could more easily find work and her sons could experience different people and ways of life. ***

Oklahoma schools! Well, there is the problem. When the rest of the class found out that these Okies could write their own names, they felt so intimidated they had to run them off!

LMAO!!!
This is truly one of the funniest things I have ever read!

"Oh my gosh, we are going to have fun this year," a security guard muttered, according to Brown.

A classic!

On another note, please ping me if somebody starts a pool for how much longer these two poor brothers with the malicious and abusive parents have to live.

"Do I have to send the National Guard in to get my children an education?" asked the distraught mom.

Here's some free advice. If you outsiders are going to send your kids to an urban public school in Crown Heights, Brooklyn of all places, you better also sign them up for fighting training from someone like Chuck Lidell - they'll need it.

Maybe you fools can learn about the real world from your kids who now have a crash course from the school of hard knocks.

This totally reminds me of an Architect, who became a friend while jointly working on a project in Marin County, CA in the 70s.
San Francisco was a different place then and racial tensions were limited to a few limited areas of town, but it was spreading when I left 5-8 years before.
Well, he decided that he wanted "diversity" for his young boys too. So he moved to San Francisco. Unfortunately, where he could afford to rent was marginal, to put it kindly, and the story continues much like the one in this article.

Unfortunately, the diversity lesson the boys learned was long traumatic and painful and, I suspect, the exact opposite of what was intended. Unfortunately the parents will deal with the results a long time, as there was some permanent damage involved.
Sometimes good intentions should be limited to just one's own personal risk.

Same thing happens to white kids who are moved to Hawaii, are enrolled in public schools there...same thing.

The smart parents leave the Islands with their children for better places on the Mainland, given that the parochial schools in HI aren't much of an improvement, if any, as to this issue.

"I was excited to expose my children to a complete variety of people," Lisa Brown said. "I thought it would be an advantage. I always told my children that children could be cruel - but not to this extent."

This woman is nuts! She is destroying her 2 kids lives just so she can feel good about herself. These two kids will be scarred for life by these incidents, and yet this woman continue to subject them to further abuse by moving them to another school. The mother has already been warned that things will continue even at the other school. What will it take to wake this woman up? Man, I pray for these 2 kids.
