You know, the more I think about this the more incensed I get. The American Girl website is aimed at what, 8 year olds? And they're linking them to a website with policy statements on contraception, abortion, homosexuality, sexuality in general? They must be out of their friggin minds.

Sheesh, even if I was a flaming lib this isn't stuff I'd want my EIGHT YEAR OLDS directed to from a toy company's website!

AMEN to that!

We have sent an email and made our call.

We also pulled out all my daughter's American Girl magazines. We thought they were "safe" - we did not find any lesbian or pro-abortion propaganda though.

Our daughter is upset - she is 13. The magazine was the last clean fun mag for girls. There is no better alternative.

The more we think about it the less sense it makes.

American Girl dolls & magazine have always been "traditional" - conservative Christians are the customers. How many liberals do you see buying historical dolls for their daughters? Why would they do this to themselves? It certainly won't increase sales!

Yes their target is young girls. Like any other sin the enemy tries to get them hooked young - before they know the consequences.

Sane, you and I have had the exact same reaction. My mind still cannot comprehend the wholesome image of AG intertwined with the crap that is girlsinc. It makes absolutely no sense, and I can only hope that it will be one hell of a career limiting move for some stupid feminazi.
