I don't think you would make it past Ann Coulter or George Will without a JD from a Top Ten law school. You should just withdraw your nomination in shame.

The field is computer science but I did a lot of logic. A lot of computer science has its roots in logic. I worked with some of the top logicians in the world and those guys are pretty cool.
I don't think Coulter or Will are really bothered by Ms. Mier's qualifications and where she went to law school. It's more that she hasn't distinguished herself in her work. At least that's my concern. If you can show me how she has really done something spectacular in the area of law, I'd really appreciate it, as that would make me feel a lot better. For now I am just going to go on faith, recognizing that our President has made such good picks in the past.
