I would not send any child to a NYC public school. Period.

Me either. Having done 10 years in NYC public schools (and I did mine in District 26 - probably the best in the City), there isn't a chance in Hell I'd send my kids.

In fact, even though I'm out in Suffolk now, I STILL don't send 'em to public school. It's Catholic school for them. This would NEVER happen at our school.

Regards,

PS: What a moronic idiot this mother is. "Diversity" indeed.

I attended Catholic school all my life. My sister attended Uniondale High for her senior year. Life is very different in Uniondale High at the honor student level. I'd say most schools out in suburbia are better than the city with the exception of Roosevelt, a slice of NYC life, I like to say. My sister taught there and it's just sad.
