Chazelle and Cormier said one reason such comments largely go unnoticed is because the French expatriate community in the United States is fairly small and has no active lobby groups. But the CIA states that France has more agents (spies) than China in the US.

Subway ran the ads in about 10 US states for nearly a month and pulled them in September following an outcry by members of the French expatriate community and other customers offended by the racist undertone. The Frogs are a race?

other customers offended by the racist undertone."Racist?" What? Are the chickens upset with being linked to France? Exactly what "race" are we discussing here? The "French" race, or the "Chicken" race?

People don't really hate ALL French. What they hate are the leftist snobs who dominate Paris and other large urban / media centers in France ... who most assuredly DO hate America. Put differently, we "hate" those who show they hate US.

I don't recall an outcry over The Simpson's reference to "cheese-eating surrender monkeys." Suddenly the Fronch have become so thin-skinned. Go figure.

other customers offended by the racist undertone. They're also stupid. French isn't a race. It's a nationality.

The ad by the Subway chain touted a cordon bleu chicken sandwich with the words France and chicken, somehow it just goes together. A photo of a chicken dressed like Napoleon accompanied the advertisement.

LOL!! Sorry I missed the ad, think I'll go buy a Subway sandwich today just on GP.
Though it must be really embarrassing for them.
I mean, they did eventually surrender to ... (sorry, can't even say it)
Too funny.
