I think she just said the "gay is cool" part to keep idiots from calling and writing to call her a "Homophobe".
Even more than getting complaints from viewers about being a "homophobe", she'd probably have to worry about being able to keep her job at Fox. Fox is better than the other cable news stations, but they kind of go out of their way to cozy up to the homosexual lobby as well. Fox has been infected with the politically correct bug.......I've seen an increasing amount of this from their anchors and hosts lately.
