The Howard Dean/Michael Moore/Cindy Sheehan fringe of the Democratic party so far has made almost no inroads into mainstream party thinking.
Disagree. This is the leadership and base of the modern democrat party.

Moveon.org, Cindy Sheehan, or Michael Moore in the short-term may be useful stilettos to the Democrats. But most keep their safe distance from such blood-stained rapiers, since few know how Iraq will turn out or what such razor-sharp groups and firebrands will say or do next. True. Even Hillary keeps her distance when it comes to Iraq. Just the other day, moonbat Sheehan wanted Hillary to lead the charge for the immediate withdrawal of troops to which Hillary reply, the war in Iraq is a complicated situation. Hehe.
