What we are witnessing is a collective hissy fit from all those of the punditry class that are mad because Bush did not select their choice. This isn't about Bush and it isn't about Miers--it's about the whining pundits who can't stand the fact that Bush has a mid of his own. If conservatives/slash Republicans torpedo this nomination, the next one will be much worse.
