"The woman has no public support."
I'm public. I support her.
She has risen to the top of her field through hard work and intelligence, and she has the confidence of a President who has been unwavering in naming judges who fit his campaign promises.
Frandkly, I think it's time for an accomplished legal mind from the heartland -- someone who understands how most of America really lives -- to sit on the Court.
I don't care if her hair and her name are old-fashioned or if shallow people get upset over her eyeliner. I'm much more interested in her brain and in her intellectual integrity than in her looks.
I'm ready for commmon sense on the Court, and I think Harriet Miers may very well provide it.
Me, too, Jedidah. I think there's a lot of support for her but too many people are po'd because their favorite didn't get it.
