I dunno. I thought her pushing phony documents might have had something to do with her problems.

No, the "jihad" wasn't born that day.
Mary seems to have forgotten the leftwing lathering up over alleged "forgeries" about Niger yellowcake being sold to Saddam Hussein.
Then there's the day the Democrats in Congress voted to de-fund the Cambodian army. That was a good one. Ended up as one of history's greatest mass slaughters ~ 1/3 of the Cambodian people ended up dead.
These people like Mapes and Rather have a lot to account for and today, with the internet, we are ready to make them pay the price every single time.
Eventually, of course, Mapes has to be sent to prison for something, and no doubt we'll find what it is.

"This was something else, something new and fundamentally frightening," Mapes writes. "I had never seen this kind of response to any story. It is amazing how these elitists are shocked that everyone does not agree with their liberal viewpoints.

THIS was her downfall. If she had been in the business for this long and not heard of these sites it is obvious she was a VERY POOR researcher. If you weren't aware of us or little green footballs, by then your were doomed before you put the paper in the typerwriter.

A whining, moaning, groaning liberal who really and truly believes that all of history ended in 1974 - when Nixon resigned.
These people have no idea of what America is like.

Apparently the word "pajamahadeen" was just to much for her. Incidentally, it made it into
Wikipedia, yet with no reference to Free Republic.

You say potato, I say po-tah-to, you say "political jihad", I say "the truth".It's so hard now to make things up and report them. Poor Mary.

"They were hard-core, politically angry, hyperconservative sites loaded with vitriol about Dan Rather and CBS."So, I suppose that MoveOn, ANSWER, and all the other socialist groups that attended the "peace rally" a couple of Saturdays ago consisted of people who were polite, pleasant, well-groomed, and articulate.
