HA! Too funny. I get the same thing as a single 36 year old gal. Of course, I say its because I haven't found the right man. Sucks to be an old fashioned kinda gal these days.
My mother had two "Old Maid" cousins. One of them never married and the other did late in life. They were sisters, and neither of them had children. They did, however, have several nieces and nephews, my mother alone contributing five of them.
Those "Old Maids" left a handsome estate, and seventeen of their nieces and nephews shared half of it, to the surprise of each of us. The other half went to their church.
They never flaunted their private lives, or as it turns out, their wealth.
