If you would not see any Bar qualification as advantageous, there would be a lot of conservatives who are now active for conservative causes in the judicial field out in the cold.
I would hope that they have other qualifications. If not, their applications aren't resting on much.
I would guess that there's a conservative or two in the ACLU or the UN trying to reform it from the inside as well, but I wouldn't consider either one anything but a stain on a resume.

Republicans control the Courts, the Presidency, the Senate and Congress, and the majority of state governments. Yet nothing has changed but the names.
