Wrong. The only reason RATS successfully filibustered the circuit court nominees, including Rogers-Brown, was because their media handmaidens protected them; the American people knew little or nothing about it.

Sorry, but you are the one that's wrong. The RATS successfully filibustered JRB because they are beholden to the kook left. Also, I can't really believe that you do not think that the MSM would not continue to protect them regardless of the exposure. This just seems naive too me given Memogate, Iraq Weapons Looting, etc.. I can already here the MSM using (probably distorting) the JRB line of "Social Security, cannabalism of our children!". She would be demonized in media and IMO most definately filibustered. You can count on it.

I respectfully disagree. The media could not protect the RATS from filbiustering JRB. A Supreme Court appointment is too newsworthy, too visible for the media to be able to shovel the RATS' dung under the rug.

Plus, we have the bully pulpit. The President could expose the liberals for the hypocrites they are in 5 minutes.
