Whatsamatter? Can't YOU grow hair?
Still got plenty, even after the chemo.
Even had it down past the middle of my back -- until about 1972.
A lamp was good enough. I don't know you would want to do both barrels in a dynamic fight with a young girl and an EVIL SOB in very close range. Heavy iron bar to the middle of the back might work. Ice pick applied correctly to either the heart liver or brain (via eyeball or ear, might work. Check with local authorities about this method first. Heart and liver are easier target, and before the demise of the ice box was a weapon of choice among 25% of all murderers.
Pepperspray in the eyes is pretty cool too. He might not have found his way out of the room. If you hit the mouth also, he might lose the ability to run in a very short time. I which case you can be yelling to the community this POS was trying to rape my daughter and see if you get a crowd.
Hey, if you had a good shot though...
Remember, if you hit the face, Identification will be much tougher.
There is always a lot of tough talk in these threads. I appreciate it, but you need to understand the constraints of your community. There are a lot of people that use legitimate self defense, that end up defending themselves in court and losing everything.
As an example:
After posting the above, if I EVER use an icepick in self defense, I will be in deep doo doo. In my state firearms are outlined in the state constitution in defense of self and others. Not property.
Understand your local laws before anything happens and everyone will be a lot better off when the unthinkable happens.
And practice often.

Golden rule, better to be tried by twelve than carried by six. Doubly so for parents protecting kids.
No, not being tried by 24 and carried by 12. How about better safe than sorry, and ask questions later. That sounds mixed.
How about two to the chest, one to the head?
The girls actually beat the snot out of them, I was very proud of our daughter, and it was great to watch. Now they harbor no illusions that they would ever be able to completely overpower an attacker, but they learned enough to at least slow someone down, or disable him so that they could get away and attract some attention.
The most important thing they learned, though, was to always be aware of where you are so that you don't put yourself in a dangerous situation. Granted, that's not always possible, but it gives them better odds.
I would not let that thing NEAR my children.
ROTFL!!
He's probably gonna "squeal like a pig" a lot when the other prisoners find out that he got beat up by a couple of little girls.
When the yuppie bikers started bobbing theirs into little Steven Sagall ponytails, I decided to keep it long, just to prove I wasn't another yuppie biker.
It still reaches the middle of my back, and I have a dozen grandkids.
My wife's hair is longer, though.
He looks like the male alien in "Rocky Horror Picture Show"
Bald with ponytail is a special kind of pathetic.

"cough up too much for another lousy haircut in another town from an outfit who probably figured they'd never see me again."
I just go on base and get lousy haircuts from the same people who cut the sailors' hair. I don't care if it's a good haircut or a bad haircut, as long as it's a haircut.
Maybe, maybe not. I speak from experience because my 16 year old daughter has a third degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and my 13 year old son has a second degree black belt in the same dicipline. At age 10, they could not overpower a healthy male. The goal, however, is not to "overpower," but to defend, evade, and escape. The element of surprise, the sudden burst of energy, the speed, and the piercing yells, may very well prove sufficient to accomplish those goals against a helathy male, depending upon their level of martial arts training.
He looks ROUGH for a 42-yr-old.
No base anywhere near here--or in the areas where I was working, unless you count Groom/Nellis (just east of there for one well). They weren't too likely to let me in for a haircut there...Cheaper to tie it back, too.
