Rush is a BB that get direction fro the WH daily briefing. He will be in full support.
I hope Rush actually at least shows some skepticism. Sometimes he's right on but other times he seems too interested in supporting Bush to actually criticize him. Other times he has no problem.
And I say that as a fan!
Rush won`t overreact.
But I`m guessing an undercurrent of disappointment in his voice today, and all week.
Me too.
RUSH, how could the President walk past so many qualified KNOWN conservative judges for a political friend? Has the President truely lost due North? I think he may be totally shell-shocked from all the hits, hurricanes, Delay, the Plame b.s....is this the end of the conservative part of his term?
I think Rush will hit it down the middle today, fading it a little to the right. No endorsement for Miers!
Mark Levin won`t be so subtle tonight at 6pm

"This was a pick made from weakness."
Rush :
" this is a pick made from WEAKNESS" !!!
"I think the pick is designed to avoid more controversy. The pick is designed to appease. I can't tell you how that disappoints me."
"The caveat is, I don't know this woman. She could end up being fabulous." Rush then goes on to say, "Why do we have to roll the dice?"
RUSH:
"Bush...weak...pick...designed to appease..."
bttt
Rush is hedging. He wants to come out swinging, but . . .
I wonder how Rush would be responding to this pick if she has been nominated by a (hypothetical) conservative Democrat.
Rush: Makes Bush look like he is nominating "from a position of weakness."
Not trying to be mean or disrespectful to the President, but I wonder if the First Lady had a say in this one?
Criticism is not against Miers, it is against Bush.
Ditto.
From drudge,
"
VP Cheney Plans To Detail Support Of Harriet Miers On Rush Limbaugh Radio 1 PM ET/10 AM PT..."
That's right. We can't think for ourselves. Let's wait until Rush gives us the talking points -- the reasons why we're supposed to applaud the nomination of a woman who donated to Al Gore. I can't wait till Rush comes on and tells me what to think and say.
Pinging before reading!!
my questions to Cheney:
1- why give a lifetime appointment to a 60 year-old?
2- is she truly our best and brightest?
3- what message does this send to the many brilliant appellate court judges that were passed over?
4- why didn't you save this "throw away" appointment for when John Paul Stevens retires?
They should make a show about Dick Cheney being president.
In 2008, of course. ^^
