I grew up on a farm in the midwest and we raised hogs. When one hog would walk by another, out of the blue it would bite that ones tail. The hog with the bloody tail would then get bitten by all the other hogs and would eventually be killed and consumed by the rest.
With the comments I am seeing here today, I feel like I am on the farm again.

We used to spray diesel on the backs of groups of hogs when we mixed them together for the first time. Made them all smell the same and really cut down on the fighting.

There must be a very good reason hogs attack eachother. I don't know what it is, but it must serve some purpose.
Miers is not the best pick. There is little we can do about it. Are we merely supposed to shut up and keep cheering for big-spending, half-hearted conservatives just because they are Republicans?
