Well....I hope Carl is mistaken...we'll see. In my opinion....even a damn-democrat judge can follow the Constitution and NOT legislate from the bench.... After all...we do not know for certain whom our judges vote for....but we know their decisions....after the fact....which does cause me some indigestion problems...
My concern with the knee-jerk reaction today on FR is that we can sometimes sound like the wackos at DU..... Lets simply deal with facts and eliminate the emotion....

I'd bet my bottom dollar that a lot of these so-called conservatives with their over the top emotional outbursts are regulars on DU.....

I agree with you somewhat, however, I can understand the frustration with the president. He really has been a disappointment in so many areas, but I learned long ago not to put my total trust in politicians but in God only. Politicians (and Bush is one), will disappoint us time and time again. I think its far more healthier to not trust our leaders so blindly. Keeps us much more alert, hopefully. Republicans as well as Democrats are disappointed often with their leaders.
Yes, let's hope if she does get confirmed, she is better at waiting for all the facts to be presented to her before making a decision, unlike many on this board.
I was thinking the same thing. If it wasn't for the cleaner language, I would have thought I was in DU. I was over there reading their reaction, and in one post, they were actually agreeing with the "Freepers". Scary!
