Vice President Disk Chenney has just said on Sean Hannity that he believes she (Miers) will be voting with Scalia and Thomas. Fred Barnes has just written a column that he believes conservatives should hold their fire.
I would be inclined to mute my scathing criticism if there were no other highly qualified candidates. I can think of three highly qualified FEMALES, and a half-dozen men. This nomination is a betrayal to conservatives. And I have been labeled as a centrist. The hardcore conservatives really feel sold down the river.
