If it turns about that Miers is the nominee, and the Democrats don't put up a fuss about her, then we are in trouble.
She was on the Dems pre-approved list of acceptable candidates to them.
Another question for conservatives to ponder is:
What REALLY is the difference between Harriet Miers and Sandra Day O'Connor?
Has Bush simply caved in to the Demo pressure and given them the .. cough.. gag.. "consensus" pick they wanted?
How many conservatives heard this pick this morning and shouted "GLORY GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!" and how many heard the name this morning and had their hearts sink, moaning "Why?? Dear God, WHY??"
You watch that senate turn into a bunch of pussy cats. Mark my words.
One more thing: This pick means that the prediction of the New York Times from last week was correct. I'm not sure what that means, but I don't like it.
