Faith-based conservatives, who are driven by a single issue, usually abortion.
Miers is not a "good candidate" because they don't know what she thinks about abortion, or __________ or _______.
There are plenty of 'em who cling to the idea that the SCOTUS is going to outlaw abortion once we have a majority, and they can't stand not knowing right now if Miers is their "it" girl.
That's what this is all about.
So if that isn't the case, then the GOP shouldn't campaign like it were so. And they shouldn't constantly seek support and money under these false premises.
