For some reason, I really like the "Bush's fault" posts - they make me laugh. My sense of humor must not be too sophisticated :-)
I am really wondering, though, why the Ethan Allen capsized in calm water. Wake from another boat, short of something really big, like a ship, shouldn't have done it. Has to be a stability problem of some kind IMO.

Only thing I can think of is if everybody rushed to one side of the boat to see something.
That might cause a small boat with relatively narrow beam to capsize.

The boat is probably pretty top-heavy, and broadside to a big wake, it doesn't have a lot of freebhoard.
